你們真是子民哪，你們死亡，智慧也就滅沒(méi)了。 |

No doubt but ye are the people, and wisdom shall die with you. |

但我也有聰明，與你們一樣，并非不及你們。你們所說(shuō)的，誰(shuí)不知道呢。 |

But I have understanding as well as you; I am not inferior to you: yea, who knoweth not such things as these? |

我這求告神，蒙他應(yīng)允的人，竟成了朋友所譏笑的。公義完全人，竟受了人的譏笑。 |

I am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon God, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn. |

Behold, he breaketh down, and it cannot be built again: he shutteth up a man, and there can be no opening. |
