As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled? |

你們要看著我而驚奇,用手捂口。 |

Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth. |

我每逢思想,心就驚惶,渾身戰(zhàn)兢。 |

Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling taketh hold on my flesh. |

Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. |

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. |

Their bull gendereth, and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. |

They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. |

他們隨著琴鼓歌唱,又因簫聲歡喜。 |

They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. |

他們度日諸事亨通,轉(zhuǎn)眼下入陰間。 |

They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. |

他們對神說,離開我們吧。我們不愿曉得你的道。 |

Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. |

全能者是誰,我們何必事奉他呢。求告他有什么益處呢。 |

What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? |

看哪,他們亨通不在乎自己。惡人所謀定的離我好遠(yuǎn)。 |

Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me. |

惡人的燈何嘗熄滅;茧y何嘗臨到他們呢。神何嘗發(fā)怒,向他們分散災(zāi)禍呢。 |

How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. |

They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away. |

God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it. |
第20段

愿他親眼看見自己敗亡,親自飲全能者的忿怒。 |

His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty. |

他的歲月既盡,他還顧他本家嗎。 |

For what pleasure hath he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst? |

神既審判那在高位的,誰能將知識教訓(xùn)他呢。 |

Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judgeth those that are high. |

有人至死身體強(qiáng)壯,盡得平靖安逸。 |

One dieth in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet. |

他的奶桶充滿,他的骨髓滋潤。 |

His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow. |
第25段
|

有人至死心中痛苦,終身未嘗福樂的滋味。 |

And another dieth in the bitterness of his soul, and never eateth with pleasure. |

他們一樣躺臥在塵土中,都被蟲子遮蓋。 |

They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them. |
第27段

我知道你們的意思,并誣害我的計(jì)謀。 |

Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which ye wrongfully imagine against me. |
第28段

你們說,霸者的房屋在那里。惡人住過的帳棚在那里。 |

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked? |

中文 |
你們豈沒有詢問過路的人嗎。不知道他們所引的證據(jù)嗎。 |

Have ye not asked them that go by the way? and do ye not know their tokens, |

就是惡人在禍患的日子得存留,在發(fā)怒的日子得逃脫。 |

That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. |

|
中文 |
他所行的,有誰當(dāng)面給他說明。他所做的,有誰報(bào)應(yīng)他呢。 |

Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he hath done? |
第32段
|
中文 |
然而他要被抬到塋地,并有人看守墳?zāi)埂?/td>

Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb. |
第33段

他要以谷中的土塊為甘甜,在他以先去的無數(shù),在他以后去的更多。 |

The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him. |
第34段
|
中文 |
你們對答的話中既都錯(cuò)謬,怎嗎徒然安慰我呢。 |

How then comfort ye me in vain, seeing in your answers there remaineth falsehood? |
