He directeth it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth. |

After it a voice roareth: he thundereth with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard. |

Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? |

How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind? |

你豈能與神同鋪穹蒼嗎。這穹蒼堅(jiān)硬,如同鑄成的鏡子。 |

Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass? |

Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness. |

人豈可說,我愿與他說話。豈有人自愿滅亡嗎。 |

Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up. |

現(xiàn)在有云遮蔽,人不得見穹蒼的光亮。但風(fēng)吹過,天又發(fā)晴。 |

And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them. |

金光出于北方,在神那里有可怕的威嚴(yán)。 |

Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty. |

論到全能者,我們不能測(cè)度。他大有能力,有公平和大義,必不苦待人。 |

Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict. |

所以,人敬畏他。凡自以為心中有智慧的人,他都不顧念。 |

Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart. |
