(大衛(wèi)的詩)不要為作惡的,心懷不平,也不要向那行不義的,生出嫉妒。 |

Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. |

For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. |

你當倚靠耶和華而行善。住在地上,以他的信實為糧。 |

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. |

又要以耶和華為樂。他就將你心里所求的賜給你。 |

Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. |

當將你的事交托耶和華,并倚靠他,他就必成全。 |

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. |

他要使你的公義,如光發(fā)出,使你的公平,明如正午。 |

And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. |

你當默然倚靠耶和華,耐性等候他。不要因那道路通達的,和那惡謀成就的,心懷不平。 |

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. |

當止住怒氣,離棄忿怒。不要心懷不平,以致作惡。 |

Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. |

因為作惡的,必被剪除。惟有等候耶和華的,必承受地土。 |

For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. |

|

還有片時,惡人要歸于無有。你就細察他的住處,也要歸于無有。 |

For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. |
第11段

但謙卑人必承受地土,以豐盛的平安為樂。 |

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. |
第12段

惡人設(shè)謀害義人,又向他咬牙。 |

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. |

主要笑他,因見他受罰的日子將要來到。 |

The LORD shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. |

惡人已經(jīng)弓上弦,刀出鞘,要打倒困苦窮乏的人,要殺害行動正直的人。 |

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. |

他們的刀,必刺入自己的心,他們的弓,必被折斷。 |

Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. |

一個義人所有的雖少,強過許多惡人的富馀。 |

A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. |

因為惡人的膀臂,必被折斷。但耶和華是扶持義人。 |

For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous. |
第18段

耶和華知道完全人的日子。他們的產(chǎn)業(yè),要存到永遠。 |

The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. |

他們在急難的時候,不至羞愧,在饑荒的日子,必得飽足。 |

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. |

惡人卻要滅亡。耶和華的仇敵,要像羊羔的脂油。(或作像草地的華美)他們要消滅,要如煙消滅。 |

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. |

惡人借貨而不償還。義人卻恩待人,并且施舍。 |

The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. |

蒙耶和華賜福的,必承受地土。被他咒詛的,必被剪除。 |

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. |

義人的腳步,被耶和華立定。他的道路,耶和華也喜愛。 |

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. |

他雖失腳,也不至全身仆倒。因為耶和華用手攙扶他。(或作攙扶他的手) |

Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. |
第25段
|

我從前年幼,現(xiàn)在年老,卻未見過義人被棄。也未見過他的后裔討飯。 |

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. |

他終日恩待人,借給人。他的后裔也蒙福。 |

He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. |

你當離惡行善,就可永遠安居。 |

Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. |

因為耶和華喜愛公平,不撇棄他的圣民。他們永蒙保佑。但惡人的后裔,必被剪除。 |

For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. |
第29段
|

義人必承受地土,永居其上。 |

The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. |

The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. |

神的律法在他心里。他的腳總不滑跌。 |

The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. |

惡人窺探義人,想要殺他。 |

The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. |

耶和華必不撇他在惡人手中,當審判的時候,也不定他的罪。 |

The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. |

你當?shù)群蛞腿A,遵守他的道,他就抬舉你,使你承受地土。惡人被剪除的時候,你必看見。 |

Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. |

I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. |

Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. |

你要細察那完全人,觀看那正直人。因為和平人有好結(jié)局。 |

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. |

至于犯法的人,必一同滅絕。惡人終必剪除。 |

But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. |

但義人得救,是由于耶和華。他在患難時作他們的營寨。 |

But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. |
第40段

耶和華幫助他們,解救他們。他解救他們脫離惡人,把他們救出來,因為他們投靠他。 |

And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him. |
