第1段
中文 我又看見一個獸從海中上來,有十角七頭,在十角上戴著十個冠冕,七頭上有褻瀆的名號。
英文 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

中文 我所看見的獸,形狀像豹,腳像熊的腳,口像獅子的口。那龍將自己的能力,座位,和大權(quán)柄,都給了他。
英文 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

中文 我看見獸的七頭中,有一個似乎受了死傷。那死傷卻醫(yī)好了。全地的人,都希奇跟從那獸。
英文 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

第4段
中文 又拜那龍,因為他將自己的權(quán)柄給了獸。也拜獸說,誰能比這獸,誰能與他交戰(zhàn)呢。
英文 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

中文 又賜給他說夸大褻瀆話的口。又有權(quán)柄賜給他,可以任意而行四十二個月。
英文 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

第6段
中文 獸就開口向神說褻瀆的話,褻瀆神的名,并他的帳幕,以及那些住在天上的。
英文 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

第7段
中文 又任憑他與圣徒爭戰(zhàn),并且得勝。也把權(quán)柄賜給他,制伏各族各民各方各國。
英文 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

第8段
中文 凡住在地上,名字從創(chuàng)世以來,沒有記在被殺之羔羊生命冊上的人,都要拜他。
英文 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

第9段
中文 凡有耳的,就應(yīng)當(dāng)聽。
英文 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

第10段
中文 擄掠人的必被擄掠。用刀殺人的,必被刀殺。圣徒的忍耐和信心,就是在此。
英文 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

第11段
中文 我又看見另有一個獸從地中上來。有兩角如同羊羔,說話好像龍。
英文 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

第12段
中文 他在頭一個獸面前,施行頭一個獸所有的權(quán)柄。并且叫地和住在地上的人,拜那死傷醫(yī)好的頭一個獸。
英文 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

第13段
中文 又行大奇事,甚至在人面前,叫火從天降在地上。
英文 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

第14段
中文 他因賜給他們權(quán)柄在獸面前能行奇事,就迷惑住在地上的人,說,要給那受刀傷還活著的獸作個像。
英文 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

第15段
中文 又有權(quán)柄賜給他叫獸像有生氣。并且能說話,又叫所有不拜獸像的人都被殺害。
英文 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

第16段
中文 他又叫眾人,無論大小貧福,自主的,為奴的,都在右手上,或是在額上,受一個印記。
英文 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

第17段
中文 除了那受印記,有了獸名,或有獸名數(shù)目的,都不得作買賣。
英文 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

第18段
中文 在這里有智慧。凡有聰明的,可以算計獸的數(shù)目,因為這是人的數(shù)目。他的數(shù)目是六百六十六。
英文 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.
